RIDE NOTES…
Said goodbye to my trusted rental car today. It’s been 19 days and 4600 miles – it served me well. Now its entirely up to me for the next few months.
Short ride to Benson, AZ today all along I-10 but there were very strong cross winds and a 1500′ elevation gain. I had to really hang on tight to avoid being blown around. Hopefully the winds will die down before I leave in the morning. Stayed at my first Motel 6 here in Benson, AZ. It is pretty basic but extremely clean and not bad at all. There is a subway close by for dinner and of course a McDonalds for breakfast tomorrow morning so what else could I ask for?
