RIDE NOTES…
Got an early start and rode 35 miles from Hondo, TX to San Antonio, TX today. Went straight to Ride Away Bicycles in San Antonio, TX to get my spoke repaired and my wheel trued. Bike shop was great, quick, and reasonably priced. I purchased 2 additional spokes for replacement on the road if necessary.
I then rode another 16 miles in the rain to the Hyatt Place hotel for a total of 51 miles today.
I dropped my phone trying to use it to navigate in the rain and cracked the screen. Hopefully I can find a dealer to get it repaired tomorrow. Had an excellent cheeseburger at the county line.
I plan to take tomorrow off for rest, phone repairs, laundry, and to clean and inspect the bike.
