RIDE NOTES…
Rode from Chipley, FL to Sneads, FL today. Just another hot humid Florida day. It was a short 42 miles but it was still a full day in the extreme weather. Excellent bike lanes except while riding through towns, which seems to always be hectic and dangerous.
I stayed in Sneads, FL at the only motel in town, the Lake Seminole Inn. It wasn’t very good but I’ve stayed in worse.
Tom Gavorcik and his wife Gail drove up from Mexico Beach, FL to have supper with me. We went for a short drive around the area first and then we went to the captains table for food which was a very good place to eat.
I went shopping for energy drinks and chocolate milk then went early to bed. I plan to start early tomorrow in an attempt to beat the extreme heat predicted.
