RIDE NOTES…
No breakfast at the motel this morning so I had to ride 42 miles to the nearest McDonalds. All in all it was a pretty easy ride there and then another easy 33 mile ride to Live Oak, FL. I crossed over the Suwannee River today. Does anyone know the Florida State Song that was written about the Suwannee River??
I checked into 2 different motels on SR-90 but as usual I decided to ride 3 miles to I-10 for a better place. Found a decent Econo-Lodge and checked in.
According to Google Maps I have about 135 miles to go until St. Augustine, FL.
I went to Wendy’s for supper, bought energy drinks and snacks, and early to bed. It’s crazy how much money I spend at convenience stores. I normally spend $10 every night. I used to make fun of people who spend this kind of money at “C” stores, but here I am doing the same thing.
