RIDE NOTES…
Rode 42 miles today from Gulf Shores, AL to Pensacola, FL. Rode across my first toll bridge in Orange Beach, AL ($3.50). The first 30 miles were pretty easy then it was very hectic and confusing the last 12 miles through Pensacola, FL to the Hyatt Place near the airport.
It was a very hot and humid day. No lunch, but a nice hotel to do laundry and an excellent Mexican restaurant, Cactus Cantina, is just across from the hotel. Chips and salsa, taco salad, and 3 bud lights for $15.00. My kind of place!
Made it to Florida today, it won’t be long now!!
